List of inhbitants on Griffith's Valuation (1857)
By consulting the list of marriages from the townland we can see that John Collins who was married to Mary Limerick had two sons at least, Michael and Patrick.
Patrick was married to Catherine McNulty on 17/2/1900.
Michael was married twice first to Catherine McDonnell on 18/7/1892 and secondly to Nora Gorman on 28/2/1898 when he was aged 32 and she was 22.
On consulting the baptism register the following children of Michael and his two wives were identified and were added to the family tree. It will be noted from the list that McDonald and McDonnell are the same and Honor and Nora are variations of the same first name.
On consulting the birth register the following name was identified but at the moment the relationship with the Collins family in the family tree could not be determined so it wasn't added to it.
On consulting the 1901 Census the following children of Michael and Norah were identified
John Collins aged 8 , Mary Collins aged 2.6 and Kate Collins aged 11 months. The second son of Michael Collins and his first wife Catherine McDonnell must have been dead by this stage.
On consulting the 1911 Census the following children of Michael and Norah were identified
John Collins aged 18 , Mary Collins aged 12, Kate Collins aged 11,Norah Collins aged 9, James Collins aged 7, Patrick Collins aged 4 and Annie Collins aged 1 .
All these were already on the family tree except Annie who was now added.
