Peter Moylett -The Mayo Man

Peter started playing in pubs in Mayo in 1985 while working in Westport. In October 1988 he went to England playing full time. He released his first cassette tape in early 1989 which attracted the interest of Henry McGlade of Mid-West Radio who nominated him for the Connaught Telegraph Awards.

In May 1989 Peter received an award along with Mick Flavin, Joe Murray, Declan Nerney and other Irish artists. Since then he has been supporting bigger bands coming from Ireland.
